We understand the transformational power that Christian camps can have on a young person’s life. Many of us have experienced this firsthand a long, long time ago. Whether it is two weeks at a summer camp or a weekend at a retreat center, our team understands the importance of emotionally engaging parents and kids in the marketing process. Our team believes in the mission of camps and conference centers and it is our goal to make the camp and retreat experience contagious from one family to the next.

Our firm was retained to turn around the declining enrollment at LLYC and Laity Lodge Conference Center which are two programs operated by the H.E. Butt Family Foundation in Texas. Our team began with extensive research involving focus groups, workshops and meetings with administrators and electronic surveys to various constituent groups. Once the research was complete, our team created strategic marketing plans and we handled the execution for all of these plans for three consecutive years. Our work involved writing/design of multiple brochures and electronic newsletters, recording and management of radio advertising, creation of M@LL program (Moms at Laity Lodge), and strategic consulting. This work lead to consulting with several other Foundation programs. The grand opening of Laity Lodge Family Camp’s new location provided C. Grant & Company with the opportunity to create an integrated marketing plan promoting this grand opening. Our team executed the writing/design of a new brochure, planned on-site events and tours, and consulted on all aspects of marketing for LLFC.
Christian Camps and Conferences operates three camps in New Hampshire and Maine and they hired C. Grant & Company to help boost flat, slightly declining camp registration numbers. Our team began with research consisting of camper focus groups, executive and administrative leadership meetings, followed by electronic surveys to various constituent groups. After thorough analysis of all the data, we created a strategic marketing plan outlining the key initiatives needed to boost registration numbers. We also designed a promotional program called Friends 4CC equipping parents and friends to spread the word about camp in their communities.
